Once you have realized the Truth, your intellect should house only that truth, your heart should pulsate with this truth. If this state is to be achieved, you must meditate on the Gurumantra (the Atman). Spiritual Devotional Practice is very much essential. Spiritual Practice means, to convert the intellectually known Knowledge into True Knowledge. That is Self-Realization. As long as you believe that the body, world and the objective things are real, your mind flows out towards them and meditation becomes impossible. The mind can be brought under control through constant practice and Dispassion. Rejection of the sense objects from the mind is True Vairagya (Dispassion). We should think deeply about the world and the objects in it and conclude that they are mere appearances (Illusion). Then we must use this knowledge to remove the attachment of the mind to them, so that it stops thinking about them. Discrimination and Detachment come by knowledge. Knowledge comes by Spiritual Devotional Practice as per teachings of the Sadguru. Then there is Self-Realization. If we meditate with Dispassion firmly rooted in our mind, the meditation will be successful. Meditation and staying connected with one’s true self are complementary to each other and one should follow both. We must know that, staying connected with the true self is Anusandhana and this means maintaining awareness of one’s real state of Being while carrying out the worldly tasks. The Sadhaka, on the Spiritual Devotional Path (Path of True Knowledge) gets rid of this irremovable Maya by the Grace of the Sadguru and attains the State of Perfection. Actually, at that time he experiences the immense wealth of the real, non-dual, Kingdom of Paramananda (True Bliss). When all desires subside and one is in this perfect natural state of Ananda (Bliss), only then will there be complete happiness. Sadhaka must have the clear awareness that their path of spirituality is capable of leading them to such a Supreme State. All the Sadhakas should attain this state by carrying out the Sadhana which consists of Shravana, Manana, Nididhyasana . Then only, They can destroys the qualities of a Jiva and acquires the perfect state and looks upon everyone as the Atman.
