When we understand what we hear and put into practice, then only good fortune shines upon us and even the very highest aim of knowledge of the Self comes within the field of experience. By listening and thinking, the consciousness becomes definitely pure. Therefore, we should listen and we should hold fast to the teachings given by Sadguru and constant practice we should go beyond the ocean of the worldly life. Listening spiritual discourses by the Sadguru is the root of spiritual endeavor. By the teachings of the Sadguru mind comes under control and there is contentment, also the bondage of the attachment to the physical body disappears. Knowledge of Reality is the fruit of regular spiritual practice. Only by the regular Spiritual Devotional Practice as per teachings of the Sadguru true disciple will reach the Brahman which is the original state of completeness. By the knowledge and understanding the ego should be dropped. By being united we should experience Brahman. Also, by detachment from mundane affairs, we should attain peace. Bondage is trouble-some only to one who holds on to his pride of I-ness. So, all sufferings are because of ego which is ignorance. Those who have Self-Knowledge are all liberated. Those who Self-Realised , who knows Reality is extremely pure. For him there is neither the sense of being free nor bound. To be bound or to be free is the amusement within the field of Maya. The definition of being free or bound is only related to attributes. It is not concerning Realized person, because he knows attributes have their root in Maya. Thus, he has neither bondage nor freedom. Only he is free who has disengaged himself from “ I “and “ mine “ . The way of dissolution of the false imagination is through listening to the discourse of the Sadguru with attention, deep thinking on what you have heard and being earnestly interested in Realization. When you are definite about Brahman there is victory over the false imagination. By definite knowledge doubts are removed. . When the imagination becomes known as false, Reality becomes the only one existing. When the Atman is thus definitely realized the whole imagination comes to an end. Therefore, one must keep up the listening the discourses of the Sadguru all the time and meditate on Gurumantra .
