When the “I “and “Mine “have been stamped out and there is a free flow of the Ananda (Bliss) on its own, no more will there be a need to say “I am Brahman “.

One who is experience the True happiness of the Atman, he is true Sadhaka. He should listen to the discourses of the Sadguru again and again to remove the doubts that crop up from time to time. Manana and Nididhyasana is very essential after the listening (Shravana) the discourses of the Sadguru. Once the Sadhaka knows and feels familiar with the Self (Atma-Swarupa), which is beyond everything,ever-perfect, self- effulgent.
He should try to remain in that state of awareness all the time. Carry out Nididhyasana in the form of linking himself with the awareness. During the Sadhana, obstacles arise in the form of body sense, the idea of the upadhis and also the idea of duality. Give up these ideas forthwith and merge yourself again in your True Self (Swarupa). Actually, the experience of full contentment and peace prevails in this state. To give up impure thoughts, Sadhaka is required to look upon the world as an illusion, leading to detachment (Vairagya) be with the pure thoughts that “I am Brahman “. When the “I “and “Mine “have been stamped out and there is a free flow of the Ananda (Bliss) on its own, no more will there be a need to say “I am Brahman “. However, in the initial stages, is a need to be with the thought of Brahman all the time. The one who increases the intensity of the Spiritual Devotional Practice day by day and achieves rapid progress is a True Sadhaka. The experience of the Atman brings a shower of Ananda in the heart of Sadhaka. The Sadhaka can carry on Spiritual Devotional Practice of maintaining inner awareness while he is doing different worldly tasks. Everything is objective, including our body. So long as the mind is turned towards objective things, illusion prevails. Relinquish all of the things that the “ I “desires. Then the mind is automatically slain. If you consider all of these appearances as false, the mind gets merged into the Reality. If day and night, one’s thinking is on the Reality, then all objects are automatically proved to be false. When the inherent persistent desire for worldly life is truly snapped, only then will the “Supreme Self,”Paramatman be Realized and one becomes That, He. But it is possible only by Grace of the Sadguru.
Sadguru Shri Avadhootanand Maharaj. Nisargadatta Ashram, Mogarbav, Vangaon.
